Cambria Construction in Ontario, CA | Mason Remodeling
We’re Mason Remodeling, an independent Cambria service provider working across Ontario, CA. The thing that sets our Cambria work apart here is simple: we know how inland heat and hard water stress quartz slabs, and we plan for it before the first cut. If you need Cambria countertops installed, repaired, or re-seamed in Ontario, call (803) 680-2547 for a free estimate.
Why Ontario Residents Choose Us for Cambria Service

Isaac Pruett, our owner at Mason Remodeling, has spent the better part of two decades remodeling homes across Southern California. His dad was a finish carpenter, so sloppy trim work still bothers him more than it should. That standard carries into every Cambria slab we set. We’re not authorized by Cambria, and we don’t pretend to be. What we are is a crew that handles their slabs every week: Brittanicca, Ella, Torquay, Portrush. We know which seams will move, which edges will chip, and which colors show hard-water spotting fastest.
Being local to Ontario means we don’t schedule you around someone else’s route. When a seam pops or an edge chips, you’re not waiting for a crew from Los Angeles to fit you in. We show up with the right color-matched epoxy and the right tools for the job. And every technician who walks through your door comes background-checked, identity-verified, and uniformed under The Threshold Standard. You’ll know their name and see their photo before they arrive.

Common Cambria Construction Problems We Solve in Ontario
Cambria quartz is tough, but Ontario’s specific conditions create predictable failure points. Here’s what we see most often:
- Seam separation from inland heat swings. Ontario’s low humidity and wide day-to-night temperature range cause cabinet expansion and contraction that pulls on slab seams. We re-level bases, re-seam with color-matched epoxy, and add hidden support rails so the joint doesn’t reopen.
- Hard-water spotting and mineral etching near faucets. Ontario’s water leaves mineral deposits that cloud polished Cambria surfaces, especially around the kitchen sink. We’ve seen Brittanicca and Torquay both lose their shine in that zone. We restore the polish and recommend sealing routines that actually hold up here.
- Edge chipping from cookware impacts in tight layouts. Older Ontario kitchens often have narrow work zones. Heavy pots and pans clip the counter edge and take chunks out of the quartz. We repair chips with OEM-grade color-matched epoxy and can radius the edge if the homeowner wants extra durability.
- UV fading on light slabs near west-facing windows. Ontario’s afternoon sun is intense, and light Cambria colors like Ella installed near west-facing windows can discolor over time. We can’t reverse UV damage, but we can advise on window film and slab placement before installation so it doesn’t happen.
- Cracked slabs spanning load-bearing seams. When a crack runs across a seam that carries weight, a patch job won’t hold. We’ll tell you straight: sometimes full slab replacement is the smarter spend. No sugarcoating.
Cambria Service in Ontario: What Local Conditions Mean for Your Equipment
West-facing kitchens in Ontario take a beating that coastal installs never see. The inland heat and low humidity swing hard between day and night, and that thermal cycling stresses Cambria slab seams more than anything we see in Chino or Rancho Cucamonga Cambria service areas. Here’s what that means for your countertop: a seam that looked perfect at installation can shift a millimeter over a dry summer, just enough to catch a fingernail or snag a barstool. In neighborhoods near the Ontario Convention Center and along Holt Boulevard, we’ve re-set more west-facing island seams than anywhere else in the Inland Empire. The fix isn’t just cosmetic. We re-level the base cabinet, re-seam with color-matched epoxy, and add a hidden support rail. That rail is the difference between a repair that lasts and one that fails again next August. Last spring we re-set a Cambria Brittanicca island top in a home near the Convention Center after the original seam had popped and caught on a barstool. We re-leveled the base, re-seamed it, and added the support rail. The homeowner was back to hosting within two days.
Cambria Models & Products We Service in Ontario
We work with the Cambria lines Ontario homeowners actually buy: Brittanicca, Ella, Torquay, and Portrush. Each has its own personality. Brittanicca’s veining hides daily wear well but shows seam movement if the base shifts. Ella’s lighter tone is gorgeous but needs window-film planning on west-facing walls. Torquay handles hard water better than most light slabs. Portrush is a workhorse for busy kitchens. We use OEM-grade Cambria color-matched epoxy and seam-setting kits for repairs, and we stock common colors locally so your Ontario project doesn’t stall waiting on a shipment. For full installations, see our Cambria sales & service page for the full lineup.

FAQs – Cambria Construction in Ontario
Yes, but slowly. Ontario’s mineral-heavy water leaves deposits that dull polished Cambria surfaces, especially near sinks and faucets. The damage is cosmetic, not structural, and it can be polished out. We recommend a sealing routine tailored to your slab color. Call (803) 680-2547 and we’ll walk you through it.
Sometimes. Cambria’s veining varies from batch to batch, so a perfect match isn’t always possible. We’ll pull samples from current inventory and compare them side-by-side with your existing slab. If it’s close enough to satisfy you, we proceed. If not, we’ll say so before you spend a dollar.
We re-level the base cabinet first, then re-seam with color-matched epoxy, then add a hidden support rail. That rail prevents the seam from reopening during the next thermal cycle. If the crack spans a load-bearing seam, we’ll recommend full slab replacement instead. We tell you honestly which call is right.
We do, with caveats. Cambria quartz is not rated for direct, prolonged UV exposure. Ontario’s afternoon sun will fade most colors over time, especially light slabs. For covered outdoor kitchens with shade, it works. For full-sun applications, we’ll steer you toward a more UV-stable material and explain why.
Most Ontario projects take five to ten business days from template to final install. Slab availability can extend that if we’re sourcing a specific color. We give you a written timeline with your written price, and it doesn’t change unless you change the scope. Call (803) 680-2547 for a project-specific schedule.
